My Progress - BLC 21 + Scary day

Tuesday, February 12, 2013

I've had a little bit of a scary day. After yesterday, I had worked the weekend challenge so that I would actually be free for lunch today. Jason has been pestering me to come eat lunch with him (eating at the parents table is a big deal.)

So my BLC progress - Down 2.75 lbs - not very much but still down. If I compared myself to last year, I'm up about 20. In any case I know what I'm doing right (exercise) and what I'm doing wrong (eating).

My scary day started when I hit his school for lunch and was told that I could not enter, but if he had an appointment to make, he could leave. Since I was only there for lunch, I left. Shortly there after I got an email from the Keller Police Department talking about the soft-lockdown at the schools at KISD in response to the escaped prisoner problem. In hind sight, I'm happy with the response even if I was annoyed at the time. Only thing better would be concealed carry allowed on campus.

Glad things are ok and it's so important that you don't beat yourself up over the weight. Sometimes we just have to pick ourselves up and start over. You are and you are doing great!

I always have to remind myself that I didn't gain the weight quickly - it went slowly up over time. It's got to come off the same way! You'll get there!

Good to discover the school is paying careful attention !

I gained last year, too. But NOW we are on a great path, building habits that will give us better food choice skills. We can do this!

    emoticon on reaching Alpha Centauri!

It's hard sometimes to see our progress when we've had a weight gain. But what matters is that you are moving the scale in the right direction. Every pound lost is a victory. emoticon

Glad everything turned out okay today. I'm sure it must have been scary for you.
