To recover from a recent sprained ankle, my physical therapist told me I should lift marbles with my toes - it would help strengthen and train muscles, nerves, and tendons. I have long ago lost any marbles I had (ahem); however, scouting around the house, I found my now-grown daughter's collection of toys.
So now I have them under my desk at work and every so often, I pull off my shoes and socks and start picking them up and moving them from side to side. Now I just have to figure out something funny to say when someone asks what I'm doing. (Or if they can play too.)
