I'm a tiny, tiny baby
Deep in your insides.
My genes say if I get to grow
I'll have your beautiful eyes.
I'll have a mind and heart in me
Which will equip me to learn and love.
I really am a precious little gift
From a Great God up above.
I know that you won't like to hear me cry
But, that's just how babies talk to their mothers.
I'll learn to talk real quick, you'll see,
Then we can share with each other.
Mommy, as we grow together
You'll be an idol in my eyes
But, Mom, we'll never have these things
If you have them make me die.
I know I'll cost a pretty penny.
I know I'll take lots of time.
But, Mommy, when I'm older I can care for you
When you are past your prime.
I love you Mommy!
I can't wait to be held by you.
My arms a short and tiny now,
But, someday I’ll hug you too.
