Chicken with spicy coco sauce

Tuesday, February 12, 2013

I love the spicy coco sauce that's in The Plan cookbook (see previous blog). I t goes well with lots of things and the other day I had it over chicken with a small salad and broccoli

The last few days have been cloudy and chilly and I have been wearing socks and sweaters. This morning I dug around in a bag DD left here and found one of her favorite sweaters. It makes me feel closer to her to wear it. We used to go shopping together at Eddie Bauer and quite often picked out the same things and then had to choose who got what :) Lucky we can share some of it!

I like the coco sauce too but my husband can't stand the smell when I cook it. Next time I will make a double or triple batch and just freeze the excess. I think I also put too much cayenne in it- was excessively spicy.

That looks so good. How wonderful to have something to be cozy in from your daughter.

That looks and sounds so yummy.

Funny, my Mother and I would go shopping together and the same thing would happen. She ended up the most with stuff though as she was harder to fit then me.
Have a terrific day and keep warm.
Nice and warm here!
