My family is still with me, bu tthe time is growing shorter until they move on. emoticon I need my space again. With the use of the Hoveround, I need so much more space than what I have with two adults and two emoticon emoticon underfoot. Today they're out shopping on their day off so I have breathing and blogging room.
I have been spending time doing online and phone shopping these past few days, and as so many of my dear Spark friends advised, just keep my focus. So I splurged and bought that super juicer bullet from the TV, so I can make my afternoon snack juices with lots of healthy ingredients. I need to stay independent and one way to do that is to be the healthiest person I can be. I also invested in a new super deluxe veggie peeler. My aide misplaced or threw the other one away, so I bought a red handled one and will give it its' own private hook in the kitchen. I really miss it.
It's been an adventure and a lesson in holding my tongue these past few weeks, even though my need to express "displeasure" at times got the best of me emoticon emoticon . Did it ever!, but I repented and made it up to my DD by serving her when she was feeling sick, so all is forgiven I'm sure. It's so hard living in close quarters and having to bite your tongue besides. But this too shall pass and in the end I'm just so glad that I was able to provide a safety net and an anchor in the storm for them. That's what emoticon emoticon emoticon is all about; keeping my little emoticon emoticon warm and safe.

I know how crazy it gets when the kids come to visit for a few days...living with us would be a much bigger challenge. Glad that they will be moving to their own place soon...I'm sure they're happy about it, too. We do what we have to and you are doing a good and caring thing for them. I know they appreciate it even if they don't always say it! Hang in there!! Hugs, Jeannie

God bless you, Patty! Taking care of others when you need taking of, is a very admirable thing to do--but that's just you. You are a very giving person. I am glad that soon you will be on you own again and have your house back to yourself. (hugs) Noel
