Blizzard Nemo 2013

Tuesday, February 12, 2013

Here are some pictures taken in Quincy Massachusetts! I hope you enjoy them.

I think it's funny that our cars didn't get that covered but you could barely see my neighbors cars.

This is a picture is looking out my front door, that 30 inches of show was tough to clean up, good thing my brother was a huge help with the snowblower!

This is my neighbors car covered with snow.

This is my window looking out at all the snow.

We had 26 inches !! The snow drifts were the worst. Sheesh, we had drifts 5 and 6ft high in my driveway. My brother and I were shoveling for over 7 hours on Saturday. Sunday was occasional clean up whenever the plows came by to widen the streets.

And when I heard we were getting rain yesterday, all I could think of was the flooding. There was no way for people to clear the storm drains in time. On the plus side, it did melt some of the snow. BUT, I guess you heard we might be getting some light snow on Thursday. ugh...

Love your photos. I posted a phew too.

Jackie, we usually never flood as we are up on a hill, but I work in Cambridge and there was a lot of flooding yesterday, that's for sure. We also lost power for 24 hours, that was fun stuff, so glad it's back on and we have heat. Sorry your not plowed out yet, that stinks.

Did you guys flood at all? I'm inland enough that that wasn't a concern for me, but I know the coast road there can get pretty crazy!

We still aren't plowed out - just dug out enough to get to the street. I think we're going to have snow until July!
