-Drink at least 8 glasses of water
-log all food on tracker and stay within calorie range
-cardio + strength training
-something positive for the mind: meditation, yoga, reading, whatever....just soemthing for ME! I need it!
Yesterday went very well. I reached all my goals for the day, including getting all caught up with the assignments for my 5% challenge. Turns out sparking on the couch is a great way to keep myself distracted from eating on the couch. Mental note taken!
It was a struggle getting back into my groove in Body Combat class. But it was great being with my fellow "combatters," sweating profusely and laughing a lot, too. I tried to modify the workout somewhat since it's still kind of hard to breathe. But today, I'm feeling pretty good, the cough is improving, and I can't help but think that my body NEEDED that exertion!
I took my measurements today for the first time. I really don't have anything to compare them to, since I've never really done it before but judging by how I feel about my body, I think I'd like to lose around 6 inches from my waist still, and 4 inches from my hips. It would be great to lose 3 inches from my upper arms and 3 inches from my thighs.
Today, I dedicate all my good intentions and positive energy to my friend Amy. I really, really miss her and miss talking to her. Today, I'll focus on our good memories and hope to connect with her in some small way through them. Have a great day everyone!
