Home sick from work this week and wedding dress search continues.

Tuesday, February 12, 2013

My daughter's second dress from Overstock was tight, also, and it appears that the made in China dress is cut too small in the chest area. She even ordered a 10 and she usually wears 5s. So back to the drawing board on her search for a dress.

I went to work yesterday but seemed to be runnig a fever and cough was extremely bad. I went home after 45 minuters. I told them I probably would need to be out three days but when I called my doctor's office they said to go to bed and they did not want to see me as it could be the flu. They said if I run a temp of 101 or higher I need to go the ER. I am finishing my antibotics today and have been sleeping as much as possible. The doctor's office said they would sign for me to have a medical leave so I would not have to worry about jeopardizing my job.

I had a hard time printing the form for the medical leave of absence and finally succeeded last night after the HR department was closed. I hope having this week off will be enough. Hopefully I can go back to work next week. I really didn't want to use PTO as I need to have some available for my daughter's wedding in September.
