Need A Team Mate

I feel like I really need someone to help me with this. I need a partner. I think I'm going to get a sparkcoach...does anyone have one do they help? I've been doing really good at doing my workouts but eating is still a problem...I don't track everything I eat I think that may be a huge part of my problem. I'm going to try tracking everything I eat tomorrow..I will find the time...

Thank you for blogging - it's great to share how you feel, no matter what. When I'm feeling frustrated, stuck,confused, afraid I can't make it, or whatever, I know that I'm not alone. I know SOMEONE on SP has had the same problem and will at least relate....and someone will care enough to tell me what I need to hear. If you continue to blog, that reaching out will give you the same support. When you visit someone's page and their experience or attitude "speaks" to you, friend them. Some will friend you back, and some won't, but you WILL get what you need.
NYHARDHAT is one of my absolute favorites here - she's positive and encouraging, and she tells it like it is. Her advice about tracking - everything - is also what works for me. Her advice that you have to somehow MAKE the time for tracking is crucial. I think maybe most of us got where we are (the weight, I mean) by not always being honest with ourselves about what we were doing. Once I started tracking everything, even if I didn't like the numbers, I started seeing results. I'm fairly new, and I'm older, so the loss is not huge to anyone but me. But it works!
As for a coach, you could try the SparkCoach tool here on the site. I tried it for the free trial and liked it SO much I signed up for the paid version. I find it really helps me stay focused and accountable.

Whatever tools it takes to help you achieve your goals! I don't have a spark coach, but there are many who I've seen have had positive results by utilizing them. Good luck!

you can't just find the time. It has to be as much of a commitment as anything else. Knowing what you are going to eat and tracking it before you ever put it in your mouth is part of the success. You have to plan. You have to be dedicated enough to want the changes and be willing to make the time and effort to do it. Plan the next day the nite before. Set up the tracker before you go to bed. You can always delete/add food as it changes. Be wise in your choices. Drink your water. Even when you think you are cheatiing track it because the only one you are lying to is yourself. I add some kind of note to each days tracker. It really helps me relate and figure out what is going on. Be aware of the non scale victories, such as, pants are looser, moving more, excerise less stress. Those count too and help keep us accountalbe.
Blog, it makes a difference, it holds you accountable. We, as a spark community can help keep you motivated and spirited but only you can keep yourself accountable.
You can do this. One step at a time. /Be kind to yourself, be honest with yourself. Also remember that we all fumble. The success comes when we get back up, brush off the dust and keep going.
