Today's workout was killer! I found myself getting discouraged that I couldn't do one of the exercises (full pike-ups), and then I shook my head. Last year, I could hold a plank for 10 seconds. Today, I held a plank for 2 minutes at the end of a 35 minute workout. I'm happy about this. I choose to focus on where I'm going, not present shortcomings. ::flexing::
Even if I never do a full pike-up, I know I'm doing what I can to take care of myself, and this makes me proud.
