List ALL your trigger foods.
-Movie Theater popcorn
-restaurant food....eating out in general. It starts a chain reaction, affecting my gut and my wallet big time!
What are the sources of the Triggers Foods?
- food brought in by others at work
-food I let my kids eat
Describe the most common situations where you reach for the trigger foods or snacks.
- usually in the evening, but also when I haven't eaten enough in the day. I'll be too hungry, then eat too much of the wrong thing. Eating in front of the tv. Eating while traveling, weekend eating. I splurge on the weekends like its vacation.
Do you see a pattern? What types of foods are you reaching for? Does convenient access make a difference?
- I'm noticing that convenience is definitely an issue. Also, making time for myself.... Time to eat. Time to prepare healthy meals and snacks for myself. So, I am going to try to combat this by remembering to eat something every couple hours so I don't feel famished later. Doing this will probably help a lot with my night time snacking, too.
