Man, am I in a funk. I am just not feeling today. Yesterday had too many negatives that I just struggled to overcome. I am still struggling. Good news though is that I am taking actions to overcome. The washing machine broke Sunday and after working on it with a sears appliance repair guy, we discovered that it isn't worth fixing. It is 9 years old and the motor is out. He said we'd be better off replacing it. Our dryer works...when it wants to. It is very finicky. I must say, I have learned to charm it so I rarely have trouble with it but anytime my mom is up, it breaks and won't start up again for a couple of days. Today it was time to let them retire. Our new hires are middle of the road whirlpools. They'd better last. It took all evening to get the old ones out, the new ones in and get things squared away. It is now 8:47 pm and it doesn't look as though I will be able to get my 20 minutes of exercise in. I am just pooped. I am going to try to get on my bike, but I just don't see it. I am sitting in the hall right now waiting for my daughter to fall asleep. Of course with everything going on both kids were up past their bedtimes. So the good thing is new appliances that work...bad thing is they come with another bill to add to the pile.
On the medical front, I called my doctor and I am going to get in Wednesday afternoon. I will feel so much better after getting a clear checkup. After that, I don't think I'll be half as stressed as I am now. It's just a weight on my shoulders. So one and a half more days til that. I already have a teacher willing to cover my class and the principal's approval. Now I just need time to pass!
Eating wise I did not do great today. I didn't do awful, but definitely could have done better. With the washing machine and dryer situation, we had leftovers tonight and they weren't the best. It was a modgepodge of random things. I am sure the calories added up.
Tomorrow is a new day and things are leveling out. This week will be ok. Goals for this week:
1. Exercise 20 minutes a day
2. Eat in range 6/7 days
3. 6 cups of water a day
