Sick and disappointed!

Monday, February 11, 2013

I'm struggling with a nasty 'bug', virus, I think. After a good weekend of exercise and healthy eating, this really is disappointing. However, more disappointing is that someone stole both of my husband's bicycles last night or today. Dh is reluctant to call our condo association or insurance. So, I will try to handle tomorrow. Sometimes people are so disappointing! Hope your week has gotten off to a good start!

I'm sorry. I hope you are better soon, and that the bicycles are recovered or replaced.

I just finished a month of the flu bug.... It puts a damper on everything to see the world thru rhuemy eyes and achy joints.. it passes but never quickly enough.
My insurance agent gave me same info as Patty Spencer. I had some one break into my house (my ex-cleaning person who knew where every thing was) and steal $6000 worth of jewelry. My agent advised against filling a claim because insurance companies across the board are only for total disasters right now. She said that if someone puts in smaller claims, even if legit, there is a likelyhood of being dropped.

Sorry to be a downer.... instead let me just say... keep going!!! and Thank you for your inspiration of staying the course no matter what.

I just hate to hear when someone steals something that you work so hard for. I hope you get money back to replace them and I hope you feel better soon.

Sorry that you are not feeling any better. I don't think it had anything to do with walking or exercising. It is probably getting you down because you don't feel good. things always seem worse when we don't feel well.
All people aren't bad. There are good and bad everywhere. We just have to keep on going and seeing the good things while contending with the bad. Get a good nights sleep and talk this over with hubby. Things will get better and when your health gets better so will you.

I understand your husband's reluctance - I've just had a conversation with my insurance people that said insurance companies are really cracking down on people who file claims (even ligit ones) - I just had a friend who has paid insurance for 40 years and she filed a 1500$ claim and the insurance company paid it then dropped her - her step daughter filed 2 claims - got dropped. I called my insurance company and they said short of my house burning down - don't call and for goodness sake don't call the 800 line after working hours even to ask for your rep to call you the next day - they will log it as a claim which then goes against you.

Better to just file a police report and hope for the best.

    Why is he reluctant???
We had our bikes stolen years ago- it does make you disappointed in the human race!
Feel better soon.
This, too, shall pass.

Things getting stolen make me so upset. I used to work in a retail store where things would get stolen daily... but it was usually things like a duvet set or a vase. Who needs to STEAL those things? Food and such I could see but... a vase? haha

You'll feel better soon enough. Keep tracking your food and maybe a light walk here and there while you're under the weather.
