Worked today and dashed directly to barn to get chores done and feed so that I could go have my dinner and relax...almost got there...mucked out stalls, filled some buckets, brought the mini girl in...Captain managed to dash out front and he and Charlie careened around for a them in...hayed and fed, picked up the remaining dog food so the ewe wouldn't eat it..fed the cat...fixed dinner...two bites and friend called...coming over to leave his tractor to work later in the week...up from the table to open/close gates...shut pasture gate before the curious sheep racing forward got there...back in the house...lukewarm tater tots and the homemade hamburger were still tastey.

I am just happy to have gotten a chance to eat without having to do double duty of standing over the poodle's food at the same time to keep the Bearded collie out of it...they always decide it is time to eat when Mom or I make a happy to have my friend prepare to tie together the ten 7,000 lb columns which he put up last week...he hand tightened bolts on Sunday as two were creaking in the one an uneasy feeling as these things are disproportionately top heavy and held in concrete at the base by 4 large bolts in adhesive and concrete....hopefully I can get the trusses purchased in a timely manner to further secure the structure...just takes
