Back to normal, ;)

Monday, February 11, 2013

I'm happy that life is finally back to normal. That means on Mondays we go shopping at Burke's which is equal to Beauels in Fla. Where the dots are king! Anyway that means anything with a dot is marked down, 30, 50, 75 or 90 % . It's like a game to find something for almost nothing. So today we went shopping and I did find one top but it didn't have a dot. I did buy it anyway because it was so pretty. Of course it will fit better if I lost 5 or 10 more lbs but I'm spectulating and it wasn't that expensive so I'm happy with it and can even wear it now but not to comfortably like I'm used to doing, I like things loose.

Then we went to Target for Valentines Day shopping. A brand new one opened here but I found it very expensive. I thought I was getting a buy on bananas at 24 cents a lb but they turned out to be 24 cents EACH!! My fault for not wearing my glasses but when I saw the 24 sign, I just assumed them to be a lb. Dummy!!
Target doesn't work well for plus size women but they do do better for men. Walmart doesn't have to worry about competition from them!

Afterwards we tried our old hangout of Ryan's for dinner. It was very good and I enjoyed the meal food so much that I didn't have dessert except for a bit of ice cream that I couldn't resist. All in all, it was a very good day and lots of walking exercise too.

I like getting back to normal again, there is nothing like a comfortable routine to make us feel well again.

I am a creature of Habbit too so I understand what you mean. It makes things more balanced again. When my oldest son moved back home recently it threw me off quite a bit for quite a while. Now he is in Paris (long story) for a couple more weeks and I have loved having my own schedule again, but I know it will be over soon.

I am so happy you feel good again and are out to your old haunts again, and enjoying food again. I wish I had your weather there, but man am I glad I don't have your home town weather either.
Hugs Susan

I'm so glad you're feeling better!

Yep, Target sure isn't the cheapest store out there.

Have a great day today!
