My 3 Month Challenge

I need to get back to being active. There are a lot of times where my body just doesn’t want to move and I need to change that. Right now I am working on a 3 month challenge to build up my energy. It will begin on March 1st and end May 31st. I am giving myself the rest of this month to finish planning it out and to mentally get myself ready.

Month 1 - I will have a set of exercises in the morning and another in the evening.
Month 2 - I will continue to do the same exercises from month 1 with the addition of 4 more videos. Im not going to do the same thing every day. Im going to have 2 different groups and alternate them.
Month 3 – Im going to add 7 more videos to my work out but now have 3 different groups. This way I will keep up with my hour a day.

Throughout the 3 months Im going to focus on how I feel after each video. If I notice a difference in my body then I’ll know what videos to keep doing after the 3 months. A lot of my weight is in my belly area so I know I have to do a lot of cardio. Right now I have walking and 3 cardio videos. I might do some of the cardio videos 2x a day.

What I also need to start doing is to eat better. Back in 07 when I first heard of SP I started to eat better and I would exercise every day. I did notice a difference. I felt better and had more energy to exercise. Ive done this before so I should be able to jump right back on the horse.

    It really helped me to get a fitness tracker. I am using a fitbit but even a simple pedometer can work wonders. I find myself parking farther from the door when I go places, choosing the stairs over the escalator, etc. Little changes that add up to a big change in my overall fitness. I'm working out, too, but making more movement a part of my day, all day, is really helping me.
