Here I go repeating myself.
A little bit of exercise and already I'm feeling more energetic. It really doesn't take much. Kicking my own butt here.
And, a lunch with super healthy fish and vegetables - I still feel full after 3 hours. I believe it's cause I didn't eat bread/starch.
It's great when you put in a little effort and things just fall into place.
I know for certain I've said all of the above in previous blogs. Efforts I've made and feeling great, then falling off the wagon and feeling awful again. As the saying goes, you keep repeating your mistakes until you learn from them. I want to learn. It's about time.
What I need to learn, to burn it in my brain, to just do it:
- To exercise regularly because it makes me feel better in every aspect of my being
- To avoid breads and anything high in starch because eating that stuff tricks me into thinking that I am always hungry. It is a horrible trigger, a vicious circle. AND it's REALLY bad for my diabetes.
-To eat balanced meals with a HEALTHY protein and LOTS of vegetables because that satisfies my appetite and nourishes my body, and that's what stops the hunger.
- To just make an EFFORT! Ya, just do it, be prepared and do it.
- and lots of water is good too.
