Yesterday, I had a really long day and I was tired and wasn't going to work out. After dinner, my daughter started marching in place. We do that together a lot so I get my steps for the day. She then said that I would be in a bad mood if I didn't get more steps and I should get on my treadmill. I watched the Grammy's and walked on the treadmill until I hit the 10,000 steps.
This week my BL BC team is having a BINGO challenge along with our weekly 5k, circuit and steps challenge. Today, I managed to cross a lot of the square off. One of the squares was to try a new DVD. I tried one of Coach Nichols. It was ok, but pretty easy for me. So, I decided to move onto Leslie Sansone's Punch up Your Walk. That one works with weighted gloves. It is a 4 mile walk and she really does work every part of your body.
I crossed off 5 more squares with that workout. I still hadn't gotten to 15,000 steps which is one square I need to cross off. I am at 12,000, but after nearly 2 hours, I need a break. I will get those other 3,000 steps in by the end of the day. I AM STRONG! I WILL NOT QUIT!
I figured out an analogy for the scale: Scales are like men...you can't live with them, you can live without them and you can't tell what they truly mean
