Monday blizzard

Monday, February 11, 2013

After ice all weekend we got some snow last night and the winds are blowing it around today. 35 to 40 mph winds are not fun. Started having trouble with the brakes on my car so had to run it in this morning. New brake liners are needed but because of the weather they can't get the parts till tomorrow. So have a loaner till then. That money wasn't budgeted in but thats the way it goes. It is nice that I don't stress out like I use to do when things like this hit. Headed to a doctor (chiropractor) in a little while. Bad pain in my shoulder that won't go away so going to see if something needs to be popped. So haven't gotten any workout in yet today, but will try to walk the threadmill when I get back home.

This being stuck in the house for 3 days is driving me crazy and makes me want to head to the kitchen. But being a good girl so far. Did do some trail mix I made of raisins, dries cherries, and nuts to help me stay sane. A basketball game tonight but it depends on the weather. They start districts so if not tonight it will have to be Tuesday for the next game is to be Thursday if they win.

Yeah, cabin fever gives me an appetite as well. Dang. But exercise and motivational work can help a lot! Sorry about your brakes - another "Dang!" Good thing you don't stress out over such stuff as life can really laddle it on sometimes! Hang in there!
