I checked my start date and realized I'd been here a week. One week passed, 4 pounds gone. Considering how small the changes I've made have been, I'm quite happy with the results.
What I've done so far:
1) Tried to keep a handle on fat intake. Too much is just too much. If my percentage of fat for the day is looking like it's on the high side, I'll choose lower fat foods to balance things out.
2) Tried to eat in realistic portion sizes. Every food can have a place in my "diet" but not in unlimited quantities.
3) Tried to incorporate more vegetables and whole grains.
The food tracker has really been a big help to me. I'm sure that once I feel comfortable with the way I'm eating now, I can make further changes to help me along even more.
