One very proud mother of the groom. My son married on Saturday and it was a fantastic day, thought I would share a few photos. they had been engaged for nearly a year and arranged the wedding in 3 months both appeared organised and calm then a couple of days before both of them turned into nervous wrecks. They wanted so much to have the perfect day there were lists about lists and more lists. The wedding was 260 miles away from home so DH DD and I travelled up two days before. Then the wedding was 30 miles away and we stayed the night before the wedding in the hotel we arranged a meal for all the wedding group as we had not met everyone and it was a lovely relaxed evening. Next day bride to be was up from 6am had hair done at 7am and all the girls had our hair and make up done. Met my DS 30 mins before the wedding and he looked fantastic but was so nervous he could hardly speak. Then all ready the music played and as his bride walked down towards him he started to cry, not just a few tears but loads...she then had a few tears but then they pulled themselves together my DD did the first reading then they repeated their vows and read a love pledge to each other que more tears from the groom the bride and everyone else, managed to exchange rings be pronounced man and wife and then sign the register then lots of formal pictures and then the meal with lots of laughter and tears again during the speaches then time to cut the cake and then time to dance Marisa now 10 months was a beautiful flower girl and loved the music the day was perfect and no snow till we arrived home last night
Hi Anne! Thanks for sharing pics from your DS's wedding day....everything was so beautiful....love the colors and those flowers at the end. Having gone through two weddings myself, recently, I know exactly what you are talking about with the "lists"! Ha! Thanks again for sharing.
What a beautiful wedding!! You look fantastic Anne - love your dress! It looks like it was perfect, and the tears and emotions speak volumes to the depth of their love... how wonderful! Marisa is growing so fast, what an adorable flower girl!
Wonderful! They look so happy! Glad it all turned out so well, and that the snow was kind to you. It was kind to me too, and stayed away till last night. Wish the rain had as well. Most of my Oxford weekend was very wet! LOL 1500 days ago
