Hockey Game and House Hunting
Monday, February 11, 2013
Busy busy weekend. Friday night went to a hockey game with Husband and some of his coworkers. I was surrounded by popcorn, beer, funnel cakes, and cotton candy for four hours and I didn't cave even though I was HUNGRY - only because it was all staring me in the face. But, we got home, I drank some milk, and we went to bed. Success! The truth is that I probably wouldn't have really indulged had I not been on a diet anyway - but being on one just made it all the more tempting. Plus, boredom. Because I hockey doesn't hold my attention.
Saturday we went out with our real estate agent. Another opportunity to eat emotionally but I didn't. We stopped at Subway for lunch and instead of my Chicken, Bacon, & Ranch sandwich and stuck to Turkey with mustard. House hunting is more stressful than I was ready for but I still resisted the urge to calm down with food. We got started in the morning so I skipped my usual routine, putting my workout off until we got home. We re-cooped for awhile once we got home, but I still made myself get off the couch to do my workout, kicking Husband out of the living room so he couldn't watch and distract me! I was still so tired and out-of-sorts once I finished he made dinner while I showered and relaxed
Sunday was a great. We relaxed and had a Breaking Bad marathon - taking a few hours to get off the couch to go walk around the mall and Maxx to scope out clothes I want once I reach goal - and enjoyed each other company without and agenda.
So, here's too another successful week! Weigh-in in two more days! Woohoo!
