I had already planned on not tracking my food this past weekend because I was taking a road trip to visit my friend in Chapel Hill. I ate a lot more than I normally would in a single day -- I brought brownies, she had wine, we went out for dinner -- and on Saturday night, my belly was F-U-L-L. I took a shower and lay down and then I started to feel an unwelcome/uncomfortable gurgle.
Well. Dinner did not agree with me and the next thing I knew, it wanted to leave my body -- STAT. I ended up spending a couple of hours in my friend's bathroom. Glad she's a very good friend!
The next day (Sunday) I felt MUCH better. I had a pear and a banana (with peanut butter) for breakfast, and then ate 2 stuffed grape leaves and 2 artichoke hearts for lunch. At 4pm we went to Jazzercise; I was up for a light workout by then. This is the second time I had food poisoning in a couple of months' time. Last time it was much worse, so I am thankful this passed pretty quickly.
On my drive home I had a funny thought: If I had been tracking my food for the weekend, how do you account for puking it all up?
