Honey n Oats Green Smoothie

Please note - This recipe was created before I started the Virgin Diet, and is NOT Virgin friendly.

Honey n Oats Green Smoothie Happy Hen

2 cups Spinach - packed measure
1 1/2 cups Vanilla Almond Milk
1 cup Ice Cubes

1/2 frozen Peach - skinned & sliced
1/2 Banana - fresh or frozen

1/3 cup Whole Oats
1 TBS Raw Honey
1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
1 TBS Flaxseed oil

Pack the Spinach in the blender, add the Milk and Ice and blend.

Add the Fruit and blend.

Add the Oats, Honey, Vanilla and Flaxseed oil and blend.

Makes one large serving.

    Actually, I don't use that one anymore, as the honey is way too much sugar for the program I'm following... That being said, fresh spinach is all I use... I got in a bind once and had to use frozen, and it was awful... With the fresh spinach, you can't even taste the spinach... With the frozen, there was an undertone of it.

    The oats do really well... The combination of them and the honey is wonderful.

    That sounds really good. Just wondering how the oats do? Guess I'll have to try it to know.
