Since taking up the Olympic spirit, six days ago, I have gathered cheerleaders and fellow team mates, to stick with me on this year long journey.
Week one has been all about getting mentally into the game. Filling my days with positive self talk. Fueling my body with healthy things, tracking my food and staying in my calorie range.
My workouts have increased, become more varied and intensified. Strength training, cardio, stretching, working out all parts of my body and feeling muscles that have been dying to be used!
Here is a photo of my new board, with room to add on as I find things.
Along with the burn...the good kind of pain, I have noticed that my skin is looking better, with all the oxygen that it is getting, along with the water and good nutrition.
My energy level is up, which is great since work is getting hectic!
So here I am...day one.
OK..OK, I hear you. I will be brave and put on a full body shot, but only one.
You may note that it is not from the front. That will come once I reach my goal as a comparison.
