This week my goal is just 70 minutes of cardio. Seeing as I was once up to 400+ of cardio plus P90X for strength training, I think 70 minutes is VERY reasonable. My only challenge is that is gets dark here very early, and our neighborhood that we are in right now doesn't have street lights, so I can't walk with my husband when he gets home, which is what I would normally do. And my elliptical has not been moved here yet, so walking is really my only option unless I do some kind of video.
This is my first week back from a little over 2 years of pretty much falling off the wagon BIG TIME. I'm jumping back on and holding on for dear life...hope I can hold on tight enough...my emotional state is not quite where it should be, or where I want it to be, but I just can't keep waiting, so I am going to try and force myself to get back on! I'm trying to stay positive and believe that this is going to work, but in the past, if I'm not feeling ready, I am just not able to be successful. I am tired of waiting, however, so I am going to make my best effort and take this one day at a time! (Almost verbatim from my last entry on my last account...LOL!) I have the support of my family, and all of you here at Spark, so I am confident this is going to work. And I am going to try my hardest to remember that even if I have a bad day, or two, I need to pick myself up, brush myself off, and get back on!
So, at least 10 minutes a day is all I need:
9/10: no exercise today...no logging of food either...tomorrow is a new day!!
9/11: 25 minute walk...made up for yesterday :)
