It's true...yes it is. What's good for the body, is also good for the mind ~ and the soul, I might add. How can we ever lose if we make this our life's goal....to be healthy & well?? And SP helps us every step of the way for free. What more could we ask for? I think all of us who are here, in this community are SO lucky to have found this wonderful place where we can be our best selves and spur each other on and make new friends in the bargain.

Had a great sleep last night. Felt totally better today. It was a pretty rainy day so did all of the cardio walking inside. Today's mileage: 9.25 miles. Did a ST session tonight - core; upper body.

Yesterday Sam's Club was giving free cholesterol, blood sugar, BP, BMI tests. I guess they've been doing this for a LONG time but I just found out about it! Where was I?!?!?! Anyway...it was the 1st time I've gotten my cholesterol done in several years. I was too scared to do it before I started with SP. I was SO happy to find out that the total cholesterol was 197; HDL was 78; glucose was 101 (non-fasting); BMI was 20.6. They had a BMI machine that you hold with both hands in front of you and then it gives a reading. It was the 1st time I've seen one of these machines. BP was 114/73; resting heart rate - 64. NONE of these numbers were possible before SP - not even close!! 414 days ago my BP was 212/99 - a walking heart attack waiting to happen. Needless to say these tests MADE my day!!! I was on cloud 9.

Also went to WalMart yesterday and had been thinking about getting some workout pants similar to Coach Nicole's. I did get a pair and they do make working out a lot easier. I had been wearing sweats until now. Just giving a review to say for under $10 they're definitely worth it.
