My day started off with me feeling really crabby in the morning. I'm not sure if it was due to me staying up later than I have been the past week and a half, slept poorly, hadn't had anything to eat.... but man, everyone needed to steer clear of me, haha.
I went straight for the kitchen made a two egg omelette, one Al Fresco Sweet Apple Chicken sausage with a glass of orange juice. I felt soooo much better once I had breakfast.
I decided to wear my HRM to see how many calories I would burn while doing housework. Course, I forgot to turn it on while I was vacuuming & mopping the floors, but in 1 hour I burned 323 calories. I guess that's not too bad, considering most of my day is filled with housework...
There were 3 bananas going to waste, so I looked up a banana bread recipe and baked some banana bread. It called for sour cream, but I didn't have any...so I used Chobani Apple & Cinnamon yogurt. It still came out nice & my family seemed to enjoy it, there is only half a loaf left!!
To end my day, I did Evening Stress Release yoga (Yoga Zone). Wore my HRM, did 38 minutes of stress release yoga & burned 168 calories. I wasn't really doing it to try and workout, more for the stress release, which did wonders.
After thinking back on what I have done today, I feel really good about myself. It was a productive day & I made good choices. What a great way to feel at the end of the day
