D&C tomorrow

Sunday, February 10, 2013

Finally.

No classes today so I can get things ready for my cover(s) on Tuesday/Wednesday. I'm not sure how many days they'll give me off for this, but I'll take every one I can get. If I have to go back Thursday, that's fine, because I have no classes. Haha. If I'm off Wednesday, that will leave me having taught one hour in the first week of school. Hahaha.

I feel sorry for my colleagues who will have to cover, but it's necessary. So there. That said, my boss (not the *sshole who sent the nasty email, but my immediate boss) is going to have kittens. Hahahaha.

And I had to get an ECG, so I won't have to get another one for the April surgery (at the hospital where I have to pay up front), so that's a good thing!

A D&C might care of this problem temporarily.
But an endometrial ablation will take care of it permanently with less risk of inflection and side effects.

I assume your doctor's have checked for anemia?

If you're anemic, and unresponsive to iron supplementation, I would start thinking about going on a GAPS diet. You may have compromised gut absorption. Some people on our Thyroid team have had success treating anemia with intravenous iron supplementation.

You didn't say whether your boss is a male or a female but after having those kittens they should probably also have a D&C!

Take care of yourself and don't worry about your colleagues covering for you . It is important and you would do it for them if the situation were reversed.
