Busy day today, but not a bad one for sure. Got the grocery shopping done with my little granddaughter in tow this morning, stopped at my parents house to deliver their groceries, then came home and played outside in the snow with the little one. We made snow angels, I pulled her on her sled and she buried me in the snow. Lot of fun! She and her daddy left shortly after noon and hubby and I took the doggie for a 4 mile walk. The sun is bright today, and it makes the snow look even brighter. It's so pretty out side.
I have enjoyed my 3 day weekend and don't want to think about going back to work tomorrow. I didn't get everything done I wanted to, but got done more than I thought I would!
I am the only one who can do this for myself.
I make the choice of what I put in my mouth and what I don't.
I make the choice to exercise or not daily
I make the choice to have a positive frame of mind
I make the choice to be healthy!
Goals for today:
~ 80 oz water
~ 10,000 steps
~ 25 flights of stairs
~ keep an open mind
~ journal every bite
~ journal thoughts and feelings surrounding eating today
~ smile at least once an hour
~ learn something new and remember what I learned
~ eat a fruit or vegetable with every meal and snack
~ focus on this lifestyle I have chosen for myself and don't sweat the small stuff
I have been working on eating a fruit or vegetable with every snack and meal and have to stop doing that. I think I am eating more than I need to eat because of that. If I ate only fruits and veggies for snacks, that might make a difference, but to eat them in addition to a snack, I think I'm overdoing it. Tomorrow's goals will change slightly, as I will eat a fruit or veggie with every meal, and have one for one of my snacks.
