Well, half of the day is done, but there is still a lot going on this afternoon. I'm enjoying a quiet house right now. We had a late/combined service at church this morning, so I took advantage and still got up at my normal time and did some yoga. I definitely needed the stretching. I headed in to the church at 8:00 so that I could get the bulletins put in place and get things ready for warm-up/practice at 8:30. The service was at 10:00. Not too bad of a turnout, but not very many stayed for the Luther League dinner (lasagna, garlic bread, salad and jello cake, yummy!!!!). Mike stayed at the church to work on Pastor's office door and then he'll drop Matthew off at the bowling alley for the 4-H bowling party. Then he'll be home with Jacob until they go pick Matthew up at 3:00. Then Jacob has Cub Scouts at 4:00 and I have Praise team practice at 4:00. Whew! I do already have my music ready though and we left things set up, so I probably won't go in at 3:30 (I'm usually half an hour early), but we'll see. Knowing me, I'll end up there anyway!

I am feeling better today. Yesterday was another moody day for me. I'm definitely ready for tomorrow - nothing on the agenda...

Have a great Sunday!

Sounds like a busy day overall. Hugs on the mood still hovering around you! I am doing better now that we've had sunshine and blue sky for about 3 days now.

Only part of my family made it to church today. The twins were sick, again, so I drove the older four in to the city. It was nice going, and the priest gave a really good pre-Lent sermon. Now, we're gearing up for Lent fasting and sacrifices.

Have a great week!

Luther league, wow that brings back memories! When I was growing up I was very involved in Luther league in our small church. Our group was made up of mostly kids in my graduating class, all of us friends. My best friend was the pastors daughter so much of my free time was spent at our church or in the parsonage. We had a very active group, went to Chicago, saw the cubs and sang with Harry Carey, went to the youth convention in San Antonio, so many good memories. We attend a large Lutheran church now and I can't complain about the youth groups my own kids have had an opportunity to be involved in but when I saw the words luther league it was an instant flood of memories.......
