Ok, so I've been exercising a week now and while it kills me while doing it, I always feel really good about an hour later. I'm still trying to find my groove. I had one day where I just wanted to come home from work, and make a drink (alcoholic)- I had a bad day and didn't want to work out. I pushed myself and did it anyway because I needed to prove to myself that I wasn't going to give in, and at the end of the day- it would be beneficial. Glad I did that!! :)

Eating seems to be going OK; ironically I really do like eating healthy, it just takes a bit of planning and finding out what is best for you. I have never in my life tracked how many calories I consume so this process is very interesting. I'm a huge wine drinker and I had NO idea how many calories worth of wine I was consuming over the course of a week!!!! All in all I feel better; both mentally and physically. There is no reason not to become a healthy person. My work is facilities management in a hospital, and I've gone so far as to apply for a position at Lifetime Fitness for a Assistant Department Head in Facilities- seemed like a "sign" to me :)

I really feel like if I am going to make a change, it should be a complete overhaul and I am hoping that in some way I can be motivational for someone and so I am going to continue this journey. I've done this before, and I know I can do it again...... I purchased the Total Body Sculpting DVD that Coach Nicole does, and am reviewing it right now to see what it looks like, and I think I will like it.
