I'm making progress on my speed and time on the treadmill! This morning I walked 3 miles in under 60 mins. Exact 56 mins, 3 miles, speed 3.2, incline 1.5, 18.45 min mile!!
This is the best I have done. This week is an overtime week so it's going to be tough to get my walks in but I'm shooting for at least 3 maybe 4 sessions of no less than 30 mins. I think I can handle that!
On my earlier Blog I had posted that my work place challenge was 4 months, it's three months. My mistake. Any way it started last wed. 2/6/2013. It runs till May 8. Weigh ins are every Wednesday at work. They will have weekly leaders posted. I'm not expecting to win or even lead on the board but I am doing this for me . To become healthier and fitter. It's been an up hill battle all my life. I'm setting realistic goals for my self. Counting calories and exercise is the key!! I'm in this for the rest of my life.
For those of you out there who are on the verge to quit
don't give up. Keep your eyes on the prize. Becoming healthier for you and your family will be worth all the hard work. Hang in there
