It is almost 11am and the plow has just made one swipe of the street. I feel sorry for the people who have cleared their driveways. The plow came and put snow right back into the path of the driveways. One guy was out their snow blowing again and started cursing at the plow. The have a job to do but it is frustrating. I don't know if I am going to be able to get out of our driveway. Once the driveway is cleaned that is it. My landlord is in his 90's he can't keep clearing every time the plow goes up the street. The plow is making one sweep going down the big hill. Everyone clears their driveway out to that sweep.
Not knowing when I am going to be able to get out, I don't know how to plan my week. I was looking forward to going to the aquatic center to walk the pool. I was suppose to go Friday, but that was when the storm started. For the first time that I know of they were closed. They didn't even close the day of the hurricane. This is what I came up with, hoping to make adjustments if the situation improves.
1. use my cardio glide if it doesn't aggravate my back 3x
2. strength train upper body 3x
3. strength train lower body 3x
4. walk at least 100 steps more than I did the previous day.
I am hoping that either my chore person or my homemaker will be able to go grocery shopping with me. I haven't really been eating real healthy as I don't have the proper food in the house. I am out of fruit. I have been eating Progresso soup for lunch with is alright, you get vegetables but very high in sodium. I have been only getting 3 servings of vegetables and my carbohydrates have been in range but high side 59-62% They are usually 51-53% Plus I have prescriptions that I have to get, I will be out by next weekend. I usually get 2000-3000 steps in on shopping day.
5. grocery shopping--2000-3000 steps

There has been improvement in my numbers since the week before. I guess that is all you can really ask for. Improvement, not perfection, small steps, not leaps. Why am I still so frustrated? I must say I am really glad that I did this comparison though. At least I am seeing an improvement.
