6 weeks and not much happening :(

I am on week 6 and not getting the results I was hoping for.
I have totally given up pop and junk food, I eat smaller portions, and I am making really good choices.
And I am still only down 7.6 pounds emoticon .
I have been going to the gym at least 4 times a week.

People are telling me it is because I am doing weights along with my cardio. Which is all great, I just wish it would start to show.

I am not going to give up and I do feel better, but if anyone can shed some insight into this, I wish they would tell me !

Still taking it one day at a time emoticon

    Thanks ! I think because the other times I have dieted I have lost more in the beginning, but I prefer to call this a lifestyle change instead of a diet and I am doing weights emoticon with my cardio which I have not done before. I finally took my measurements last week, maybe I am losing some inches instead of pounds. The pants I wore to work today felt loose !
We will see what happens ....... one day at a time ! emoticon

    I know how you are feeling I haven't made the progress I thought I would either. I've been really trying since Jan 1. But we just have to keep trying, we will lose the weight even if it is slow but sure. 7.6 lbs is better then nothing so keep up the great work emoticon emoticon

    You lost 7.6 lbs! That's awesome! I know it doesn't feel like much, but the weight didn't come on overnight, you can't expect it to come off overnight. Slow and steady always wins the race! Just keep going and you'll get there!
