I have had a seriously busy and feeling-like-ick-and-death week. As I write this, I am nursing my cold with coffee and Dayquil. haha.
My weight-loss this week - 2.6 pounds! :D
Here were our weekly challenges and how I did:
Nutrition: Try at least one new fruit and vegetable. - Check! I ate kiwi...verdict: kinda gross, haha. I like the starfruit I tried last challenge much better.
Fitness: Learn about overtraining and how to prevent it. - Check!
Motivation: Create a visual motivator and blog about it. - Forthcoming! :)
Bonus: Write a story blog about yourself pertaining to your background with weight loss. - Will do.
Continue to drink water, but try to increase to 12 cups of water everyday. - Did not get this
Go to M/W classes and do the Jillian Michaels on at least Tuesdays. - Did not exercise formally at all this week, due to illness.
When I have any opportunity take the stairs as opposed to the elevator at school. - I did take the stairs everywhere, I believe I climbed about 25 flights of stairs over the week.
Continue to try and get at least 6-7 hours of sleep a night. - I think I got this, I honestly don't know if I did.
My new goals:
Get my 8-12 cups of water.
Do Jillian Michaels at least 2 times this week.
Get over my cold. (Ha, I wish putting this as a goal could make it go away :P)
Don't push myself too hard so that I can actually get better faster.
Moral of the story - I'm so ready to NOT be sick anymore. Being a new teacher means you are CONSTANTLY sick with all the new little kid germs haha.
