Dinners and Workouts Week of 2/10

I didn't follow my plan 100% last week and its not the end of the world. I worked late on Tuesday, so picked up dinner. Friday's workout got moved to Saturday. No biggy. I still had a great week.

Dinner-Taco Stuffed Shells, salad. Having all the family over to celebrate SIL's birthday. This recipe is off of the Budget Bytes blog. Her blog is amazing. Making a double batch so I can put some in the freezer. Trying my hand at making homemade enchilada sauce for the first time. Excited about that.
Workout - Going to do some walking on the treadmill. Probably add in some hills.

Dinner - Pigs In a Blanket, fruit. It's cooking with mom night and this is a favorite for kids and adults. Remember, use a yummy sausage instead of hot dogs. It really perks up the flavor.
Workout - Strength training day. Think I'll do 2 of the workouts off of the Total Body Sculpting DVD. I'm really enjoying it!

Dinner - Roasted chops, potatoes, veggie. This is really more of a method than a recipe. I sprinkle meat and potatoes with some seasonings, put on a pan and throw in a hot oven for 45 minutes. Easy, healthful, and delicious.
Workout - Treadmill. Will do the improving your speed workout. Did this last week and loved it.

Dinner - Ham and Potato Bake. This is a new recipe for us, but I've made similar ones in the past. Looks like it makes enough for two 8x8 casseroles, so I'm planning on putting one in the freezer.
Workout - Strength training. Think I'll do my favorite Women's Health dumbbell workout.

Dinner - Pizza Casserole, garlic toast, raw veggies. I made this several weeks ago and put half of it in the freezer. Dinner's already done!
Workout - Treadmill. Will do the improving your speed workout.

Dinner - Chicken Bacon Tot Casserole. Made this a few weeks ago and was shocked at how good it is. Very easy.
Workout - Will pick two off of the Total Body Sculpting DVD.

Dinner - Linguine with Spicy Shrimp. This is a Chef Meg recipe. Going to make and review it for the Maintainer's recipe game. Watch for the review!
Workout - Rest day or if the weather is pretty, I may go for a walk.

    Wow, what a great idea. I like to see things on paper. Makes me more accountable and you can always look back and see what works and what doesn't... Simply fun way to walk the journey.
