One of the nice things about setting goals and making plans is that there is freedom for change.
Woke up today to 21 degrees. Not even in my most psycho work out days would I consider running on a day like today. No race for me...too cold. I know there will be plenty of races this year that I will have the chance to register for, and I like that I can be picky about which ones I want to do:) I love not feeling like I have to run. I run because I can, not because I have to.
Along those same lines, I woke up yesterday completely not in the mood to do yoga. Jumping around sounded so much more up my alley. I went to zumba instead....ending my one week yoga streak. Honestly I don't think I will go back to the class. I am glad I tried it, but I love high impact exercise too much to do anything else with the time I spend at the gym. Forward bend...I will accomplish you some other time, not Saturday morning.

Started my day with tropical pancakes! YUM YUM!
1 scoop protein powder
1 egg white
2 Tbs almond milk
splash of water...next time more milk:)

Topped with a smear of coconut butter, pineapple and bananas and a sprinkle of coconut flakes and cinnamon.
Much better than running 3 miles in frigidness.
Looking forward to walking the pups a little later!
58.33 miles for the year!

    love those cold runs but love the hot ones too. i will run from 0 to about 90, below or above them i don't need to run. i have bike in high 90's but that gets warm too
