My name is Rachel, I'm 21 and in my last year of college. Yesterday my friend from home and I were discussing our health. I'm pretty good about eating healthy, at least for the most part, but exercise has always been a struggle for me. I've had a SparkPeople account for a while now but whether or not I use it like I should is another story. This morning, my friend called me to wake me up and get me started- I committed Galatians 2:19-20 to memory long enough to rehearse it and went on a 45 minute walk, repeating this Scripture all the way. Now I'm back at my apartment and I decided it's time to commit to using SparkPeople as the resource that it is. My only issue is that without accountability, without someone else who is counting on me to follow through with this, I know that this will be a short-lived use.
However, I also don't want to be that creepy account user who asks people to be her SparkFriends out of the blue. I really just want someone who will call me out for not checking in and tracking my food and exercise, someone who is depending on me to be faithful in this area of my life. This is very different from a person who says, "Did you track your stuff today?" and then goes on with his/her daily life.
So here goes nothing:
Will someone help me? Is there anyone who needs this as much as I do and would like to begin this together?
