Sick and exercise

There is nothing I hate more than being sick. I woke up yesterday with a stuffy nose....boo! I went to the gym and did my workout and felt great. Today, I woke up with not only a stuffy nose, but a scratchy throat and stuffed up ears. I need to go to the gym today, but my body really is saying no. Does anyone else ever have this problem? What do you do? do you go? Do you stay home and rest? I'm going to go, but am curious how everyone else gets through it.
