List YOUR reasons/excuses on why YOUR diets and exercise plans have not been well executed in the past. OK that might be too long a list, so give 3 or 4 reasons and for each write a strategy that will keep you on track for 8 weeks. Let's learn from our past behaviors and make this our best Challenge ever!
- after a strong start, where everything goes well, I usually have a weight setback. I try not to let it affect me, but the number on the scale does hit me hard. If I have tracked my food and followed the exercise requirement, I then lose stamina almost instantly. I hang in there for a few more weeks, but sneak in more of my trigger foods and let the exercise slide.
How will I plan for success? Keep my focus on God. He will be able to help me when I get discouraged and want to give up. Daily focus on my goals and knowing that no matter if the scale moves or not, I will have made better choices and put healthier foods into my body. I will also encourage my team mates and my friends on Spark. That is usually a great motivator for me :)
