Not a Great Week

Sunday, February 10, 2013

For the past 5 weeks I have been at a standstill, weight wise. However, last week broke that spell, I gained 1 lb. While I feel somewhat disappointed, there were certain successes that will result in some serious weight loss in the future. I have tried to work on different areas of my bad nutritional habits, for the past 2 weeks with great success. Week one goals were to eat peanut butter just once daily (for breakfast with a banana) and stay away from chocolates. Those goals were met. Week two goals (in addition to the goals for week one) were to eliminate white flour and consume at least 64 ounces of water. Those goals were met. This coming week will be the toughest to date. The goals are portion control and to consume only wine with supper. In the past, I have enjoyed at least one dirty martini a week. So, if I stick to these 6 lofty nutritional goals, and continue with my exercise regimen, I should be reporting some positive results this coming week. HOOAAA!!

Great nutrition goals, I know you will be able to conquer them all. I love peanut butter and chocolate, so to satisfy that I switched to Nutella, one tablespoon a day on my banana or apple. You can do anything you put your mind to, you're a go-getter.

Sounds like a great plan! Though tough! And, it WILL pay off! emoticon

Yeah, sugar, flour, and other bad carbs are worth getting rid of. Peanut butter is my weakness too, and I'm now switching to Smuckers natural vice Jif

Truth be told, I really do want to you to reach your weight loss goal....just not before I reach mine!

Keep at it brother!

Wow that's pretty ambitious but you seem to be doing just about replacing the white flour with wheat flour

I love how you broke the goals up into weeks so it's not so much all at once. Great job!
