Since starting my 28 days of IF I have lost 2.2 lbs which I think is great considering I lose VERY slowly unless its that TOM...I don't gain then which is weird I usually drop 3-4 lbs.

Yesterday's weight: 239.8
Today's weight: 239

Yesterday's goals:
60 mins cardio - 65 emoticon
8 cups water - 12 emoticon
feed day - stay on low end of calorie range emoticon
I also did an hour of strength training with my sister at the gym. Taking her with me makes me less scared to use the machines. I wish I could overcome my shyness there, but in the mean time having a workout partner helps and its fun!


Today's goals:
60 mins cardio
8 cups water
feed day

About the gym thing..

if you can afford a bit extra hire a personal trainer for like a week or so to make you more comfortable. I did it for a month once a week..& I did not allow them to force me to sign a long-term contract as I couldn't afford it. Having this experience with a personal trainer really helped with the intimidation thing. I would do it again and think I will again soon.

If the partiuclar gym you go to doesn't allow hiring a personal trainer on a short term basis go to your local YMCA and hire a personal trainer (I know for a fact that they have trainers without contracts). You also do not have to be a member to hire a personal trainer at the YMCA. The equipment will not be quite all the same but it would I think would give you more confidence. Gyms CAN be intimidating.

    Ha I love that green one. All you need are running shoes, a sports bra and determination, definitely!
