After 12-hours sleep, today started well.
I had a hamburger patty for breakfast.
But by the afternoon had the blahs.
Jack was taking a nap so I couldn't talk
it out with him and had to be quiet.
My BF was keeping her grandson
Last time Jack brought home a
bag of cookies, he only had 3
of them and I ate the rest -
in 2 days. When he fussed,
I (again) BEGGED him to HIDE
them if he MUST have them.
Well, this week he had snuck
some in. I knew because he had
walked through the room eating!
I had resisted for 2 days. But today
I looked- and FOUND - them.
Well I did NOT finish the whole
bag. ALMOST, but not quite.
So for lunch I had 8 Chips Ahoy cookies.
Afterwards I felt sick to my stomach
from the sugar/chocolate overload.
I resolved to drink only water and
tea with stevia the rest of the day.
The only soda left was Jack’s regular,
high calorie, high caffeine Mello Yellow
(he only has 2 small glasses a day.)
The last couple of days with no caffeine-free
Diet Coke and only Reg Coke to drink, it was
about a THIRD of my daily calories !
So I was NOT going to continue with the
Then Jack went on an errand. I was feeling
headache-y from no caffeine, so I took an
Excedrin Migraine (which has caffeine).
Later Dear Jack came back with a 2-liter
Diet Coke for me -without my even asking !
What a SWEETHEART !
After my Coke fix, I wasn't very hungry.
So for supper I had a scrambled egg.
When I checked my total calories for the day.
it was only 1000 ! I was shocked and PROUD.
I did TREAT myself with a pudding cup –
telling myself it was for the CALCIUM!
So my total for the day is ONLY 1150 !
This evening while Jack took our son
and our 7-yo nephew to a Knoxville
Ice Bears hockey game, I
...WALKED 55 minutes
...Did 5 mins with 3 lb dumbbells
...And did 2 30-sec wall Squats
And my total Water for the day is 9 –
Plus 2 12-oz stevia-green-teas.
