I call today a Win!!

Saturday, February 09, 2013

I woke up ate a healthy breakfast, and then debated with myself for 2 hours about going to the gym. Still not totally convinced that I was going I put on my workout clothes anyway. I started to feel foolish so I went. Once there I walked around the track for 30 minutes, and then I got on the Precor AMT! That thing is the emoticon. I was sweating after the first 2 minutes as if I had a full workout. I only lasted 10 minutes before getting on the Ellipitical. The entire time I was on the Elliptical I kept thinking What doesn't challenge you wont change you. I told myself you can not walk out of here defeated today. I completed 20 minutes on the Ellipitical and then you guessed it. I got back on the AMT for another 10 minutes. I know that is not a long time but for me it was the fact that I did not give up. Today I WIN!!!

emoticon I LOVE the AMT!!! It's my favorite. Keep at it and you will get there. Alternate movements when you start to get tired.

Great job. You pressed pass and you made it. When I started I did the treadmill for 30 and elliptical 10-15 and every week I would push a little further. Now I can do either machine for an hour. Now the precor amt I only did that once, it's a bit hard on my knee/back so I made give it a try again. Great job on getting it done. Putting on your gym clothes means you're 1/2 way there, just keep going. That's why I dress at work because it encourages me to stop and not go home. So far it works 5 days a week.

Absolutely you win. I outthink myself when I work out all the time - always say "Just one minute more than yesterday, one more rep than last time". Every little change will add up - go you!

Great job! I know how you feel! I ate a healthy breakfast this morning and debated with myself most of the day on going to the gym. I put my workout clothes on too! Although you trumped me. I didn't make it to the gym. emoticon But, "Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes int it."

Dong it 10 minutes at a time is a good strategy. It will build.
