Home-work for a Saturday

Saturday, February 09, 2013

Today felt like it was all about the laundry but that is not really true. I picked up a friend and we spent 3 hours at the farm shop knitting and laughing and telling lies. She got her mitten started; knitting her own handspun. I bound off a kid's cropped sweater (needs seaming and figuring out if I want to put some sort of a closure on it) and knitted on a scarf. When I got home it was one load in the wash after another. The UFO socks from 2012 are coming along nicely. One is to the toe decreases and the second one has a dozen more pattern rows before arriving at the toe decreases. They will be done and crossed off the UFO challenge tomorrow! Then it's finishing photos for my Ravelry page!!

A fair amount of walking today but nothing sustained. Tomorrow it is back to the treadmill. Stairs are no problem now. Good thing as the laundry is in the basement--15 steps in either direction!

Thanks for all the encouragement after I fell and was so stiff and sore. emoticon
