I hate it when I work so hard and don't see results on the scale. I really blew it today so tomorrow back on track. Every now and then I feel like I have to have comfort foods to satisfy my cravings.

I drink tons of water plus I take a fluid pill everyday. But I still have cellulitis around my lower legs. Today it isn't too bad but last night they were so swollen and painful. I am going to have to faithfully wear my support hose every day.

Time for bed tomorrow will be a better day!

When I have a craving (my weakness is Skittles), I look down at my body and see the "extra" that I'm trying to get rid of and I say to myself, "you've already had some." This really helps me avoid the temptation and get focused. I also try to drink water whenever those cravings come. When all else fails, I get a small amount of whatever it is I'm craving (like a Halloween size bag versus a full-size regular bag) so that I can satisfy that hunger.

Also, weigh in on the other things that are benefits of being health versus the scale, like energy level, the way your clothes fit, etc. Sometimes those things far outweigh the scale! No matter what, don't give up on yourself. If you take a step back, take two steps forward right afterward!

Hi I have cravings too when I blow it I just have to get up and dust self off and get back on track. You say you have cellulitis, That is an infection of the skin. What has caused it? Are you on medicine for it. I don't have cellulitis but I have edema to my left lower leg due to 2 steel plates in lower leg. I find I have to elevate it and really watch my sodium. No pain just swelling. I hate it though, One ugly fat leg and one normal leg. Might try a topical antibiotic cream you can buy over the counter, if doctor hasn't put you on anything. Just a thought. Take care. emoticon emoticon

I am so sorry you have cellulitis- my mother has it and it seems to have incapacitated her- she has had 3 bad attacks so far and the pain seems to get worse- do you have any tips or resources I could check out. She also is physically disabled and depressed for a multitude of reasons but the cellulitis seems to have knocked her down the worst.

Don"t give up. Do you track your food if you do be sure you are tracking your sodium. emoticon
