That is all the time I'll have to train. Seven weeks to Spring Break and the Appalachian Trail. It's long break due to the timing of Passover so I'll be cleaning the apartment stem to stern and hiking the rest of Connecticut on the AT. That's a four day hike. I'm very excited to fill it in on my map. Then I get to decide if I want to proceed up into MA or head down to the Delaware Water Gap and hike up from there. Summer is a good time to hike from MA up, but it would be neat to close up the part from the Gap to the NY border where I began my adventure. It's also summer, so there's no reason why I can't hike both! I do have 2 months for hiking and adventures. I'm still trying to score a room with a kitchen in Gaitlinburg, TN that way I can hike some AT down in the Smokies. It's gorgeous down there. So far there are only rooms without a kitchen and I'd need to cook down there.
Tomorrow will be a busy day of laundry, food shopping, cleaning, and prepping snacks and lunches for the week. It's a full 5 day week of work, but no class, I'll be prepping for that. Visiting the gym needs to be an after work priority for me. I need the Yoga and the work outs for my sleep. It's been so may years since I stayed here for a Winter and this is the first time I've actually been determine to try. I have the system in place, my parents are on board, I have my weekly visits with Larrie again for regular therapy, I have to keep up with eating well and losing weight. I've been doing great with saving money too. Everything is going well in 2013 so far, just like I said it would.
I am positive, I am healthy, and I am on my way to reaching my goals. I'm seeing the Grand Canyon with my dad this year, hopefully getting a permanent job, finishing this amazingly useful Earth Science certification, hiking and biking 1000 miles and changing my wardrobe. This is my year to change and grow. So many things have happened in the past few years and it's finally time for some peace, stability and happiness. I've been drinking my water and taking my vitamins. Always trying to stay ahead.
