A day at the aquarium

And now the ball is rolling. We have taken an official step towards having a baby. DH is going to the dr in Miami to see if he can father children. They will also be able to advise us on how to proceed from there. I'm hoping the answer is yes, and so does he.
We discussed children today again, he swears any children of ours will be smart as a whip, reading at the age of three. And he wants a boy. He won't admit it out loud, but when I suggested his father would like to see someone carry on the family name, I could see that he has similar ideas as well.
Today was my nephew's birthday. We went to the Flint Riverquarium. We had so much fun, but the food was so fattening (hot dogs and cake!). Still, I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. I love all my niece and nephews. And spend time with them so rarely. Dear Conrad just turned 5. We got to see the alligator feeding, divers, went inside an aviary, and one of the workers brought a baby alligator out so the kids could pet it. Creepy, but they enjoyed it. They are smart kids too they picked out "Nemo", "Dory" and "Bob" from the movie. The oldest, 6, correctly identified catfish and sea horses without them being pointed out first.
We were only there a couple hours, but I'm exhausted. Still, not a whole lot of exercise, so I'm off to Pilates.
