Snow days...

Mother natures way to help us slow down and take time for ourselves, family and to rest. We live in a very fast paced society that keeps us "on" all of the time. work, job, kids, family, gym...

take time today to read the paper... make a stew or dinner for the family... clean the house (burns calories and is very rewarding!)... read a book....go play in the snow!

Have fun and enjoy the moment!

    In NJ we got about a foot. My friends in CT got over 3'!

    Went for a walk... it was glorious in the sun and the fresh air. I also cleaned and caught up on laundry...burning calories and getting things done around the house. Made chicken soup and blueberry muffins.

    It was a New moon and Chinese New year... cleaning up clutter to make room. Took a salt bath and slept like a baby!

    I was wishing for some snow here in SC but it's something we seem to only get once every seven years and our last time was in 2011

    How much snow did you get? We got 1 -2 inches before Nemo, and Nemo passed above us.

    I agree that it is nice to be able to take time out for the simple little things.
